Two- Day Main Werkshop Features:
- Technique Master classes: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary, Bollywood, Latin Jazz, Choreography
- Dancewerks Student of Distinction Award – one student will be chosen as The DWSOD
- Dancewerks Studio of Distinction Performance
- Performance Showcase – all parents, friends and family are invited
- BRAVO dancer presentation – Bravo dancers are the “best-of-the-best” students from all of our Regional Werkshops
- Grand Finale Dance Competition in collaboration with Dance Idol
- Scholarship Awards – Scholarship recipients are chosen from 2-day Main Camp
- DVD Diary of the week available for purchase
The Main Werkshop includes the following opportunities!
Dancers are viewed in a classroom setting to determine placement. This takes place Sunday PM- after the Parent / Student Orientation.
Any dancer that attends the Main Camp is automatically considered for an Enrichment Scholarship to attend other workshops and conventions that work in collaboration with Dancewerks..
During the Main Camp a talented student – selected by the Dancewerks staff – will be chosen and receive a special award during the Performance Showcase for their outstanding dedication and talent in the ART of dance. This dancer will also be featured an all promotional material for the upcoming season
One studio is selected from the Regional tour and presented with this prestigious Award during the National Werkshop. Studio dancers perform at the Performance Showcase.
The National Werkshop concludes with a Performance Showcase where students perform the choreography and technique – free for all family and friends
Select outstanding dancers who participated in Dancewerks Regional Werkshops have been granted the distinguished award of BRAVO Dancer. These dancers perform at the Performance Showcase.
Students compete to receive a portion of $2500.00 to be awarded to the dance education facility of choice.
